Little Thing Called - JealousyPosted on May 25th, 2009 @ 4:36 am

JEALOUSY. All of us do get jealous. Admit or not. Other say that love couldn’t exist without it. 1 Corinthians 13:4 says, “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.”(NIV). True love doesn’t envy or get jealous.
When you got jealous with whoever is flirting with your partner or who your partner is flirting with, is it good that you let them know it? I guess you shouldn’t. Why? Because they might use it as a weapon against you. And this kind of thing is very unhealthy in a relationship. You’ll just end up hurting each other by making each other feel bad with you flirting with another person.
On the other hand, keeping jealousy with your partner may not be so good as well. Sometimes, because of pride, you don’t want to admit that you are jealous. A good conversation about this matter would be cool and be positive that your partner will not take advantage of it.
Questions:
1. Do you tell your partner when you get jealous?2. Do you think jealousy is part of love?
